The Process

  • Getting Started:

The planning and development phase of your project where we discuss the specifics of your steel building.

  1. Building use: The first step in any successful build is identifying exactly how the space will serve you​.

  2. Site Evaluation: We review your property's topography, soil conditions and accessibility

  3. Design & Customization: A steel building doesn't have to look like a "tin box." We walk through the customization options that balance functionality, efficiency and aesthetics

  • The Build:

We sign an agreement that clearly defines the work to be performed and payment schedules.

  1. Payments and Permits: after the deposit is received all the appropriate permits will be filed (if applicable) and your order is placed with the manufacturer.

  2. Metal America Contractors: You will be handed off to the Metal America Team to handle the foundation and construction of the shell of the building. This ensures you have the highest quality build and the Metal America warranty.

  3. Kuykendall Contracting Wraps it up: We handle the rest of the project necessities that may be required such as interior framing, plumbing, electrical or finish work.

  • The Wrap Up:

We walk through the project together and make sure your steel building is exactly what you expected.   

  1. Your Experience: You let us know what you think of the completed project and point out anything that stands out. Whether its good or bad we want to know about it. Especially if there is something you didn't like!

  2. Touch ups and approval: We makes sure everything is in tip top shape and make any final touchups that may be necessary before you give your approval.​
